I create from emotion first. Sometimes the idea starts with a face, a color, a memory, or a feeling I can’t really explain until I see it coming together on the canvas.

My work blends paint, texture, portraits, fabric, metallic details, and unexpected materials because I don’t like art that feels too perfect or too controlled. I like pieces that have personality, movement, and something you notice differently the longer you look at them.

A lot of my inspiration comes from Black beauty, femininity, confidence, softness, struggle, growth, and everyday life. Some pieces are bold and playful. Some are more personal. I don’t try to force everything into one style—I create what feels honest in the moment.

For me, art is less about making something that simply matches a room and more about creating something that makes you feel something when you walk past it.
